Community Events Volunteers assist TRCA staff in delivering various community events aimed at fostering environmental appreciation and encouraging outdoor activities. Responsibilities include setting up and taking down event equipment, greeting participants, collecting registration information, answering questions, providing nature interpretation, and engaging attendees in interactive activities. Events may involve guided nature hikes, tree and shrub plantings, litter cleanups, gardening or nature workshops, educational booths at festivals, and community science events. Volunteers should have a passion for environmental topics, experience or interest in community events and nature interpretation, and be comfortable working outdoors in a team environment.
